Estimats amics/Dear friends looking forward to singing in a choir,
Our choir, Cor Trobada, would like to invite new people to sing with us.
It’s a wonderful little group, like a family within Barcelona.
What do you need? Of course it’s great if you have some musical background, but no previous experience is required, many of us are auto-didacta musicians, although the choir does provide a couple of singing classes a semester so you can gain more skills.
Our repertoire varies every season. We usually have 2-3 concerts a year for which we prepare. This semester we are going to rehearse pieces from primarily catalan composers. The rehearsal is in Catalan, but most of us speak English and everyone speaks Castellano also, so we can help you out if you missed something.
We invite you to join us to see a rehearsal, so you can decide if you’d like to try singing with us. The rehearsals are on Thursdays in Sant Gervasi, near Gràcia, in a school at Carrer Lincoln from 20.30-22.30h. We meet at 20.15h in front of the door of the school Nostra Senyora de Lurdes.
